Radco Industries, Inc. Introduces Heat Transfer Fluid with Corrosion Inhibitors

LaFox, Illinois, December 10, 2001- Radco is pleased to announce the development of Xceltherm® 500M with corrosion inhibitors. Oxygen and heat transfer fluid surface contact in a systems expansion tank or elsewhere can cause metal corrosion and acidity. Xceltherm® 500M inhibits the ability of oxygen to damage system components and the fluid, especially when materials of construction like copper or brass are present. With an operating range of -80 ° F to 500 ° F, it can be used for heating or cooling. This innovation also allows a system designed for water to run at higher temperatures without pressure by switching to a “hot oil” product.

Xceltherm® 500M has been qualified by the U.S. Air Force and is used in numerous high performance military applications as a heat transfer fluid and coolant fluid.
