RADCO TOUTED BY MILITARY FOR QUALITY PERFORMANCE

Richmond, Va. - Radco Industries, Inc. of LaFox was recently honored by the Defense Logistics Agency's Defense Supply Center Richmond as one of the military's best suppliers at an Automated Best Value System award ceremony held at the center's annual business conference this past June.

Michael Damiani, CEO, accepted the gold medal on behalf of Radco from Michael J. Lyden, Rear Admiral, SC, USN, Commander, Defense Supply Center Richmond, and Mary L. Saunders, Major General, USAF, Vice Director, Defense Logistics Agency.
"It is an honor to be recognized by the Defense Department for doing what we strive for everyday- To consistently manufacture and supply the highest quality functional fluid products to our military, on time," said Michael Damiani.

Radco manufactures coolant fluids and fire resistant hydraulic fluids that are used in warships, jet aircraft, and tanks.

Firms that qualify as Automated Best Value System medalists have met stringent quality and delivery requirements established by the Defense Logistics Agency. The Automated Best Value System is a computerized system that collects a vendor's past performance data and translates it into a numeric score, ranging from 0 to a perfect 100. To qualify for a gold medal, the contractor must have had a perfect score of 100 during the twelve month rating period. Radco achieved a perfect score of 100.

The supply center, located in Richmond Va., purchases nearly 850,000 items used by the military and other government agencies. These items include a mix of military-unique and commercially available items supporting over 1,300 major weapon systems. The value of the products and services it provides is expected to reach the $3 billion mark this fiscal year.
